the recipe:
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 package white or yellow cake mix [and all the other stuff to prepare the mix]
1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
1. preheat oven to 350. grease and flour muffin pan. combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl, and set aside.
2. prepare your cake mix, stir in nutmeg. spoon the batter into muffin pans filling 2/3 full.
3. bake 12 minutes and remove cupcakes from pans. roll warm cupcakes in sugar mix until completely covered.
(makes about 48 little dough nuts!)
it was sooo easy, and even my little brother frank had fun helping me make them.

aww thank you so much for your comment!! We totally should have a reunion. I am thinking sometime next year. Derek is going back to iraq:( and i am planning lots and lots of trips down to cali!
